Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about AI crypto chart analysis with MarketLens.
What is MarketLens?
MarketLens (market-lens.io) is an AI chart analysis tool that reads price charts automatically — identifying trend direction, support and resistance levels, chart patterns, and indicator signals like RSI and MACD. Upload a chart screenshot from any exchange (TradingView, Binance, Upbit, MT4/5) and get a structured, plain-language technical read in about 12 seconds.
How accurate is MarketLens?
MarketLens reliably identifies what a chart currently shows — patterns, momentum, and key levels — using ICT, SMC, and Wyckoff methodologies. No tool can predict future prices with certainty. MarketLens works best as a fast, unbiased second opinion that removes emotion from chart reading, not as a signal service.
Is MarketLens free to use?
Yes. During beta, all Pro features are unlocked for everyone at no cost. New users get 30 free tokens on signup, plus daily spin, share-to-earn, and referral rewards. A paid Pro plan launches after beta with unlimited analyses and advanced features. No credit card required to start at market-lens.io.
How is MarketLens different from TradingView?
TradingView gives you charts and indicators — you still interpret them yourself. MarketLens does the interpretation: it reads the chart and tells you the trend, key levels, and pattern in plain language within seconds. Many traders use both — TradingView for charting, MarketLens for instant AI analysis.
Can MarketLens predict crypto prices?
No tool can predict crypto prices with certainty — markets move on news, liquidity, and sentiment that no model fully captures. What MarketLens does well is objectively assess current market structure: trend direction, momentum, and probable support and resistance zones, giving traders a clearer basis for their own decisions.
What indicators does MarketLens use?
MarketLens combines price action with standard technical indicators: RSI, MACD, moving averages (EMA/SMA), Bollinger Bands, volume, and Fibonacci retracement levels. It weighs them together across the timeframe you upload rather than reading any single indicator in isolation — which is where most manual analysis goes wrong.
Is MarketLens financial advice?
No. MarketLens provides technical analysis for educational and informational purposes only. It does not provide investment advice or buy/sell recommendations. Cryptocurrency trading carries significant risk. Do your own research or consult a licensed advisor before making trading decisions.
Which cryptocurrencies does MarketLens support?
Any chart you can screenshot. If it renders on TradingView, Binance, Upbit, Coinbase, or MT4/5 — including BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, and long-tail altcoins — MarketLens can analyze it. No coin-list restrictions during beta.
How often does MarketLens update its analysis?
Each analysis is generated on demand from the chart you upload — so it always reflects the market structure at the moment you captured your screenshot. Re-uploading a fresh screenshot gives you a fresh analysis. There are no cached or stale reads.
Do I need trading experience to use MarketLens?
No. Every MarketLens analysis leads with a plain-language summary — trend direction, key levels, and overall bias — before the technical details. You don't need to know what RSI means to use it. The Base persona strips out methodology jargon entirely if you want a purely neutral read.
What timeframe should I analyze with MarketLens?
It depends on your style: 15-minute to 1-hour charts suit day traders, 4-hour charts suit swing traders, and daily/weekly charts suit long-term holders. MarketLens supports every timeframe from 1-minute to 1-week and can compare all three AI personas on the same chart in Compare mode.
Does MarketLens support Korean exchanges like Upbit?
Yes. Upload any KRW chart screenshot from Upbit or Bithumb and MarketLens analyzes it the same as USD pairs. The full analysis output is available in Korean — MarketLens was built with Korean traders as a core audience.
